We exist for the one thing that matters.
The digital world grows heavier every day, and the planet carries the weight. One Matter builds AI that makes information lighter: easier to find, cheaper to keep and kinder to the grid that powers it.
FileSense is our first product. It will not be our last.
Help people and organisations keep what matters, and release what doesn't, so the world needs less storage, fewer data centres and less electricity.
A world where intelligence keeps growing, and data doesn't.
Four layers, from today to the horizon.
Each ring of our logo is a layer of work. The inner ring ships today; the outer rings are research we are honest about.
AI that organises files across local folders, Google Drive, OneDrive and Google Photos. It removes exact duplicates and flags clutter, so people store less without losing anything they care about. It is the first, practical step toward a lighter footprint.
Store the rule, not the copy. We are researching ways to describe data as compact mathematical seeds that can regrow the original when it is needed, so far less has to sit on disks around the clock.
A data footprint that stops growing, for a person or a whole organisation: every new byte balanced by one that is released or seeded. Less data to keep means fewer data centres to build, and less electricity drawn from grids that are already stretched.
If it proves possible, quantum computing could make intelligence radically more efficient per watt. We are watching this frontier closely and exploring it carefully, and we will always be clear about what is real and what is still a question.
Every file, every server, every watt is made of the same matter.
Treat it as one and waste becomes visible. The point at the centre of our logo is the one thing that matters most: a living planet. Everything we build orbits it.
Every product decision is weighed against what it costs to store, compute and power.
Duplicates, forgotten files and raw bulk are the easiest energy savings there are.
Our AI suggests and explains. Nothing moves until a person says so.
We separate what ships today from what is research, and say which is which.
Meet the people building it.
